E-Central Hotel DTLA: Newly Remodeled & Rebranded

A TASTEFUL HOTEL WITH UNBEATABLE PROXIMITY

TO ANYTHING LOS ANGELES

If you haven't heard of E-Central Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles that's because it's new. Over the course of the 2020 pandemic, the Luxe Hotel went through a sweet transformation. This boutique hotel got remodeled and rebranded. Do you plan on experiencing the new-new?

During my recent escape to Los Angeles, I stayed in an E-Central Hotel suite for two nights which was a very satisfying experience. My itinerary included a Lakers versus Clippers basketball game at the Crypto.com Arena, L.A. Live and the Fashion District. While these locations are walking distance from the hotel, other attractions are just a short drive away.

Friendly staff made me feel welcomed. Check-in was easy and once I got to my room, I had to use the restroom. Mind you, I had a long drive and was wearing a jumpsuit with a difficult zipper in the back. Come on, designers! Since my company hadn't arrived, I reached out to housekeeping in the hallway and a lady helped me out. She waited on me and made me feel comfortable. Shout-out to housekeeping for saving the day!

My room was nice and clean! I slept well with plush pillows and a cozy bed. I felt prepared for anything as the closet is equipped with an iron, the board and two white robes. Outside the restroom there is a vanity with wooden bench tucked underneath. The private restroom has a rain showerhead in addition to a handheld. Ladies, apply your eyeliner using the magnifying mirror. It makes it so much easier!

If your're planning a business trip, then you might appreciate the desk station inside the bedroom. I took my laptop, iPad and found the wifi connection to be decent throughout the property. I was able to go LIVE on my socials using my iPad.

The suite is spacious and inviting! It features two large, flat screen TVs and A/C units. The rooms are separated by a sliding door that adds privacy. The living room countertop has a Keurig coffeemaker, coffee fixings and a sink. Below that is an empty mini fridge waiting for you to store a drink or medicine.

Due to the pandemic, room service is cancelled until further notice; however, I was able to get a nice bottle of brute with flute glasses sent to my room.

If you are considering a stay at this modern hotel, there are a few things you must know. Feel free to bring your dog, cat and/or devices. There are no extra fees for pets or wifi. This hotel has a fitness and business center, yet it does not have a swimming pool or jacuzzi. The property is smoke-free with a valet-only parking garage.

I really enjoyed the restaurant on the second floor. The Nixo Lounge has a good view of the action on Figueroa Street and L.A. Live. Is it safe to call it a rooftop? What do you think?

My girl friends and I, spent a Wednesday evening at the Nixo Lounge. We enjoyed the food, drinks and ambiance. During my stay, I had a preview and tasting of the new menu. I can't wait to tell you all about it. Stay tuned for the restaurant review.
