THIS IS ONE FINE CHICKEN
Let's escape to Anaheim, California for a taste of authentic Mexican food. EL Pollo Fino is a small business serving the community since 1983. They specialize in charbroiled chicken while extending their menu to a variety of popular Mexican dishes. As you near the door, you'll be greeted by a captivating aroma and if that doesn't make your mouth water, the food will.
Their chicken is golden! The skin glistens and the meat is moist. I didn't want to cover it up with a tortilla as it was so good on it's own. My chicken combo plate had half a chicken with beans and rice. The food is so authentic, it reminds me of my mom's home cooked meals.
I ordered loaded nachos because it's my weakness. Tortilla chips are made in house and loaded with meat of your choice, cheese, sour cream, beans, jalapeños, onion and cilantro. The cheese-pulls are amazing so get your phone ready to capture the action. Each bite was crispy, gooey and so flavorful. You can share them or have them as a meal.
If you're ever in town, be sure to pick up some of this fine chicken. You won't be disappointed.
